my ion discovery DJ controller will not work

controller was working last night. I reset my computer this morning and when i tryed to use the controller it no longer worked. It lights up but is not being recognized by my macbook pro.

Did you set it up properly after the reset? If not this might be your problem?!

Reset ? You mean back to factory state ?
Same usb port ? all updates ?
