Setting Up Headphones For Cueing

Postby Belo12 on 25 Nov 2010, 01:16

Hi there,
I am using my laptop which operates with Vista for my DJ Discover. I have a soud card built in the laptop and I also have a USB sound card. I downloaded ASIO4ALL and activated both cards but I only get sound to my headphones and not through my laptop speaker.

Can someone walk me through what I am doing wrong?

Hey Belo12,

due to the forum rules can you please insert your license key (serial) in your profile? After that we are allowed to help you.

You should select Dual stereo and choose the correct outputs in the audio preferences.

Thx, dual stereo is the right setting. I had my outputs incorrect.

I'm having an issue with setting up my headphones for cueing as well.

I'm running a Macbook Pro with Snow Leopard, and I'm using a Turtle Beach USB Sound Card (with stereo output) and the regular output (also stereo) in an aggregate device. But for some reason, when I try to set it up in the preferences on Cross DJ, it only gives me output 1/2, rather than also having output 3/4.

Any ideas?

Did you select the aggregate device ? Did you tick the right box when aggregate ?
