DVS Ultimate file explorer not displaying files

Postby analytic on 30 Nov 2010, 02:15

I recently installed DVS Ultimate on my Core i3/ windows 7 laptop and I'm having trouble using the file explorer to load files. I can navigate down the directory tree without any problems but once I get to the directory I want I can't open it up to view the files located therein, and therefore cannot load tunes into the players or the Mediabase from inside the explorer directly. I can load tunes into the mediabase using the scan function as well as the add music function from the menu bar, just not from the explorer window inside mixvibes. Not sure if this is a bug or just something I'm not understanding, but I don't have this problem with my XP netbook. Any guidance on the matter will be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Taylor

UAC is currently set to "never notify", which if I understand things correctly means that UAC is effectively disabled. Is there something else I should the doing to be sure that UAC is not the culprit?

So it is not UAC related...
Try to reset the application : there is a reset.exe file into the Mixvibes folder.
