Lights and Ipod but not working

Ive installeed and uninstalled and reinstalled. My Ipod will play through the IDJ3, I can play songs on the mixvibes setup but as for the deck...I got nothin. All the lights (SYNC, CUE, PLAY and Stutter are lite up as are my autoloop lites and they never change!!! The controller is just a paperweight at this point. My computer is not recognizing that I have anything plugged into the usb port but in the device manager it shows the IDJ3 as a USB device. Help me Please!!!!!! I need simple answers as to what can fix this. I tried the midifix and disabled my webcam also. Once again please help...was hoping to get some time on this so I don't have to drag my players and cd's to a fundraiser Im doing next Sunday for a cancer survivor. Please help me and realize that I am tech savvy but cannot rebuild my laptop..so please im begging for simple answers if they are possible.

Also tried it on 2 laptops but same problem on both.......HHEELLPP!!!!

Did you install the device driver first as requested?

If yes, your hardware may be defective and you should contact Numark support.
