I think this will be a good feature. This will solve the workflow of analyzing files when being put into the player or adding them to the collection. At times I myself find it difficult going thru the whole process.

Tracks have to be in the collection before they can be analysed. For the reason that in the collection the link is saved between analysis file and track.

The collection is the centre of the tracks and the workflow. The Prepare tab would be the way to add in your workflow for this. Drag your tracks into there and prepare.

By this you also have the files tree available for further search.

You could however also use the collection to search on path name. This is way faster than using files tree.

It may be my way of working, but I always add tracks to Cross when I get them. Drag from explorer onto autoplay node. Then start analysis and/or listening.

With the search of Cross you get in most cases the right short list by typing like 4char of title and 4 char of artist. Like at least 10 times faster than using files.

I use a smartlist for new tracks and analyze them right away.
