auto gain ranges
Posted: 18 Mar 2016, 16:33i think it would be a great ideas to incorporate an auto gain range selector window, a lot of tracks are louder than others even with auto gain on 
Maybe you can pay some attention to the situation and verify if the situations you describe is merely with tracks (previous or Next) where there is quite some silence. Usually at beginning or end.
It's a known issue that with to much silence Cross sets a wrong gain. And if you have a wrong and a right succeeding... it sounds bad.
I must say that i don't come across to many "normal" tracks that are of. And if I do it's a matter of adjusting the track gain once.
There would be some problem with having ranges for this, which is that you never know in advance which range you would need...
