When will Cross remote, control Cross software through Wireless network not a computer to computer adhoc.

It's designed for use with portable devices. Cross uses the available network.

Might it be you have something else going on...

Let me clear this up I am talking about the remote control software on the portable devices, In the manual it states to create a computer to computer adhoc with means connect the portable device directly to the computer running Cross software via a computer adhoc. What I am asking is the computer connect to the wireless router as well as the portable device and control the software through the wireless connection of the router and not connect the portable device directly to the computer adhoc which depends on the wireless range of the portable device's wireless network card and also the computer wireless network card with is not as strong as if you used a router in the mix.

As far as I know you can use the normal network. The adhoc network is for situations where there is no usable router (which at the moment the app was created would be about every where and if there was it was limited)

Be aware that any shared router may add bandwidth a day latency issues. Also firewall settings may trouble connection)

I have my own wireless router that I bring with me to gigs. I run sound for bands and DJ between sets my Midas sound board can be control via wireless as well as my complete led light show and I would prefer to have Cross do that also. I connect my laptop to wireless router with Cross load and remote is activated in software and connect iPad to wireless router but no go nothing happens can not locate software on laptop. I do not have ports closed on my the router it is a Linksys WRT1900AC but I did not see any info in manual saying it would work that way other than adhoc. I will try connection again Does OS 9 have anything to do with not connecting to the software from remote app on iPad
