Collection and analysis Interoperability

This suggestion goes accros PC, Mac, iOS, and Android so I am putting it here.

I think I suggested something similar before but here I go again.

Since Mixvibes has Cross/CrossDj across the mentioned platforms. It would be fantastic if the collection could be shared by all platforms.

For example
1. You are listening to music on the street or club and like the tune that you hear.
2. Use Shazam or Soundhound to get the information on the track.
3. Download the track from iTunes or your favorite service to your mobile device (Android, iOS)
4. Open the track and prepare it. Analyze and set your beatgrid, cue points, and loops.
5. When you get home transfer the information to your PC or Mac.

The other way around

Complete the analysis and preparation of the track with your PC or Mac and then transfer the updated colection and analysys information to your mobile device.

Traktor and Rekordbox already have this type of flexibility.

We prepare Cross DJ 4 I don't know if we could do that but it's a good idea.

Cross 4 sounds great.

On topic: I think support for external sources (hdd) at mobile devices would have to be part of this.
Might be me, but only a 'small' part of my Cross PC collection can be at my mobile devices due to limited size of mem+SD.
Many device tracks have been compressed (so a different track) whereas my PC tracks are expanding gradually to be FLAC.

So I love the idea, but think some more attention for usage/maintenance might be helpful. E.g. sync from PC/mac by playlist or such...

I wonder whether Google Play could be used in 'not too distant' future to DJ from cloud. Users can upload onto their account up to 50.000 tracks FOR FREE!

Cross 4... yeah baby yeah!

This sounds amazing! +1 from me as well...

Although I would find already great if we had at least a way to sync our collection/cues/metadata between android/iOS and PC/mac and vice versa. If there is an option I am not aware of...

This would be great for preparation, like I do with Rekordbox.
