I noticed that one of your competitors has done this. Is there any chance Mixvibes is getting it.

The soundcloud integration has been great for some of the remixes that we can't purchase.

Please tell which has it.
Used to be a licensing issue as Spotify in most subscriptions doesn't allow for use in public.

DJay has it on both their DJay 2 (iOS) and Pro (Mac) version if I am not mistaken.

Clearly it would be a violation of Spotify rules to use it for public play. But then again, who's checking right? I am not condoning it, but it seems that it's considered "bedroom" apps and as such legal. And most likely they'll turn a blind eye when it's used in small, closed venues (house parties and such).

While I would (for a variety of reasons) not want to be using the Spotify option to put an entire set together, it does have it's charms for mobile DJs. Rather than having ALLLLLL those extra tracks with you just in case they get requested, you could just grab it off spotify if you need it (internet connection available of course).

It's not so much the license of end users.
Also the license to build the integration. Typical example of what can happen when doing this illegal is what happened to SoundCloud a while ago...
