MIDI Clock / 4 Decks / UI Customisation

Postby Chuck Noland on 16 Oct 2014, 19:47

Hi guys,

First of all I would just like to say that I have just started using MixVibes Cross and I'm absolutely loving it so far, it's really clean, stable and fast.

That said, I'm quite techy and like to experiment and create weird setups that go beyond the standard 2 deck mixing back and forth, and I've found some limitations in Mixvibes that I thought it'd be worth bringing up in the suggestions room.

4 deck timecode support:
Big one for me, as my ideal setup is 3 decks timecode + 1 ext in.

Timecode slip mode:
Amazing for scratches and spinbacks and such

MIDI clock send/receive:
Really wanting to see this feature so that I can sync a drum machine / Ableton to my tunes like I can with Traktor

Option to flip the deck layout on the screen so that they are the same orientation on each deck (ie, album art on left, timecode buttons on left, pitch fader on right).

Please don't think I'm disappointed in the software, I absolutely adore it and I know you guys work hard to please your fans! Keep up the good work!

+1 for 4 deck timecode from me. Especially if you could use it to scratch sample decks!

+ 1 for Timecode slip mode, and while were at it it would be awesome to be able to scratch on a non-master sync'd deck.

... And +1 for MIDI clock send/receive! I'm pretty sure this has been asked for for quite awhile now, but it would make for some cool and creative setups with Cross and other software/hardware.

Bump for MIDI Clock out, I want to use Cross alongside my twister sequencer and the CrossClock mod doesn't cut it.
