Is there a way to remove the word AUTO when in auto play mode?. Is there an option to turn it off?

No.

Might not seems nice always, but in (beta) tests have had it 'broken' sometimes and it is really a night mare not seeing it while you're not in the autoplay node, e.g. while lookup. The controls react different and at first you have no clue why it is not responding. Whereas a glance at the screens tells you why.
Then quickly shift back to autoplay and do the right thing..

What about an option to turn it off or on
