Would be practical if in Prepare a track can be added multiple times.

This can't be done the way prepare is made. Besides, you can't freely reorder tracks in prepare.
What you want, I guess, is for Prepare to behave as a playlist ; this can be discussed.

Yes, just like is in manual (as I read/interpret it).
Prepare The Prepare button opens the Prepare window which is a holding area for tracks, similar to when a DJ sifts through records in a record bag. You can use the Prepare window to either prepare a set or to add tracks that you may wish to play through the course of your gig. You can drag tracks or complete folders from the track browser onto the Prepare icon in the dock. To create a playlist from your Prepare list, right-click the tracks and select Add to New Playlist.

It would be handy for the prepare to behave like a normal playlist.

Maybe I should point out that the main issue is that tracks disappear from the list. Some tracks have to be used more than once and have to be looked up again in the collection.

Disco,
Could you describe the scenario(s) where this would be useful/handy? I can't imagine a situation where I would want to repeat tracks. Or a situation that made the existing playlist workaround burdensome. I just don't see this as a highly requested feature.

- Track that represents the theme of the event.
- Finally where the singer sings one of his earlier performed songs.

No plans have yet been made to modify Prepare's behavior, but you can do the following as a workaround:
1. Right click in the dock and un-tick "Prepare" to remove it.
2. Create a playlist named "Prepare".
3. Drag and drop the playlist to the dock.
The only drawback is that you have to repeat it for every collection.
