Exactly, couldn't said it better. The beatmatcher rendereing went from rendering the peaks to rendering the top or bottom (depending which deck beatmacher you are looking at) of the deck waveform.

The 'strip' approach which in my opinion has brought a major benefit that controls are always in the same place and can be made visible based on functional need, especially with all the different screen size around nowadays.
Completely agree. The picture is not perfect but at least for me the main point was the replacement of the beatmacher. I think the beatmacher needs to fixed or replace with parallel waveforms.
