Playing VSTi inside Cross

I would love to see the VSTi instrument input in Cross like in DVS 7
Well like DVS 7 with out the bugs

The 'without the bugs' part is thete with Cross. Vst plugins are a potential source of trouble making the DVS product seem buggy.

Could employ the sandboxing technique that bitwig studio uses? They can crash all VST's and plugins and still be functional during the crash. Might be worth looking into

every good VSTi i tested worked good with no crashes
the bugs are more about the implementation off the vsti inside DVS

like in the beta DVS 7.3.2 you could play the vsti without recording into one off the DVS decks…. in DVS 7.4 they change it so you had to record it to play it…which was a pain in the ass

it also needed to be on its own MIDI channel…like MIDI channel 16
because if you are running 2 MIDI controllers …you run into Cross MIDI message

the big bug was the vsti window would not close when you exit the vtsi
it would leave's a big black hole /window that would not close

nothing that can't be fixed / add'ed into Cross

this video was the first vsti test i did using mixvibes DVS ..just shows how powerful the vsti was in DVS

play and record a vsti as a music-tone by keyboard and then sequences the music-tone by mv 8000 sampler to MIDI on my Vestax pdx 3000 turntable
