is it possible to make on each drive file or folder (like VDJ .XML or Serato folder) to make collection of files, for faster startup?
now is like this..

i have videos on external disk. and from time to time drive letter changes. now i have to change drive letter to this, witch was it, when collection was analyzed... it's should be automatic... and it will make faster startup for Cross...

Using xml files technically cannot be faster then using a database that uses memory.
You have 2 alternatives for the drive.
1. Change drive letter after connection is made.
2. Use the substitute command to map a virtual disk to a hdd/folder.

I prefer using 2. As this allows to map different folders to various drives. It also is easier to swap media without having to relocate.

thanks!
but now my startup is about 3minutes, while VDJ is about 10 sek...
about 20 000 songs or videos for both programs..

Let's hope you gain the slower startup during the gig in other activities...
3 minutes is slow. I have it start up with 80k in appx 30secs (just clocked a few times). This is at a DualCore2 with 8gb.
Are you running all from your external disk, including collection and analysis files?
You could try with turning Anti Virus off. If this improves, than you can exclude folders used by Cross from your AV.
