When changing a field in batch (info pain) the 'preview' track changes every now and than while busy applying changes.
Seems like a probable cause of this process being so slow.

I find it mostly anoying that my preview track changes.

Nice image showing some challenges.
Just before I batch edited in info while selected a genre in column browser. The filter is not quite right.. selected more tracks (quantity before batch change) than present in smartlist (same applies for palylist selection).

But what is great here is that the wrong tracks are shown, but the 'right' track is active in preview! Being the one in the info pain.
