Hi,
Would like to suggest the following for Cross 2 DJ -:
1. Multi Coloured Wave Forms.( Change the look to TRAKTOR ( see spectrum colour in the software / SERATO wave forms look better now with RETINA Displays on MBP)
2. Check Cross Engine with VIDEO ( Too Heavy on the system ) I do have the latest MBP with 1GB V Ram & 8 GB Ram. The wave forms keep freezing when scrolling thru the track list. I said this a long time ago. Pls REDO the engine.
3. VIDEO UPDATES required for TEXT / LOGO / more EFFECTS .
4. TRANSITIONS ( some are not good ) SCREEN,FADE,ADDICTIVE & MULTIPLY are almost the same .. KEEP 1 of these. (Delete the rest).
PLASMA is not good ( spoils the video )
BOXES need to be removed & done better with CUBE ( 4 SIDES).
PIXILATE & BOXES are almost same. PIXILATE is good , take off BOXES. Take off PUSH HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL & KEEP COMPRESS HORIZONTAL & VERTICAL . . ( push cuts the video ).
Need to throw in video clips ( like VDJ has a CLICK on video BANK ).
Auto load of VIDEO CLIPS when playing AUDIO.
Also when a CUE is set tight ….. kindly notice on the MIX WAVEFORMS on TOP ( It is not perfect ) They some times do not match the tightness of the CUE SET.
Pls dont mistake me but even the SMART SYNC IS not TIGHT ENOUGH.
I love to observe minute things that are not right & trust me when i tell u so. At one point i was join crazy because the guys using SERATO were performing better VIDEO & AUDIO stuff. I was wanting to change to SERATO DJ but i am gonna wait till the end of this year because i saw that the original Vfx SOFTWARE had so much features but needed to be perfected.
