Currently the Cross fader assign in 2 deck mode shows deck A on the left and deck B on the right and you can turn then on or off.

That is ok but in 4 deck mode you have buttons for A and C on the left and B anD on the right to turn them on and off.

Ok I stated the obvious as background for my suggestion.

Cross would be much more flexible if
You have A, B, C, and D on both sides to assign any deck or sampler to either side of the fader.

Sure, but flexible ain't always the way to go ;)

I am sure some people will and some people won't use it. In my case I was thinking that this kind of flexibility would come in handy when mixing music videos with audio files that don't have video but you may still want to display a video loop. By using the video only fader audio only fader or regular fader to mix and match audio and video.

I personally agree with you but i'm pretty sure this won't change in a short time.
