Integrate a visualizer output/ add a visualizer

Postby FigDJ on 11 Jul 2013, 12:33

The ability to integrate a music visualizer as an output.
Something like G Force visual output.

When I am mixing a track for which I don't have the music video, a visualizer output that responds to music changes would be fantastic.

That would be fantastic +1. Looking forward to getting back the Vfx abilities too, flash, jog, and text. Thanks

With the visualizer, also have the ability to add the track information in the frame somewhere also. That would be amazing! Great suggestion.

The Serato guys finally did it with their latest update. They integrate a visualizer to their Video DJ software. It is even their own visualizer and it comes with reactive content which allows you to play and audio file and have a video loop that reacts not just to the beat but also to other musical content.

Mixvibes don't even have to that far as many of the mentioned capabilities are already in Cross (like visual content being reactive to effects). All it needs to be done is allow the window of a visualizer to be fed as a video source to one of the deck much like the camera input. So if I own (For example) G Force I can bring the reactive video output which is just a window as video input to a deck that is playing an audio file. Would use it for those old or rare tracks that do not have a music video.
