List jump on update when "autoupdate" is selected

When using smart lists, if you have autoupdate selected, the selection jumps to a seemingly random position once the list updates. Can you make it so that it jumps to the next or previous track in the list, rather than a random position.

For instance, if you have a "sort by most played" list of your top played tracks, if you load number 50 of 100, and it plays, it's position might switch. However, if you are sorted by BPM, you just had the selected track jump to a random BPM instead of near the BPM you were around because the update put you at a random place. It might be jumping you to track 49 or 51, but if you are sorted by BPM, it should go to the track before the loaded one, or the track after.
