A few suggestions, some of which may have been requested before
1. Full filter kills. This is one thing that is being implemented differently in just about every hardware and software. In my opinion Cross should follow.
2. Macro/additional function when loading tracks. It'd be handy to have track loading also hide the expanded collection view. Seems redundant to open the view, load a track and then close the view again when this could be an automated process (perhaps optional).
3.About the VU metering of the GUI, I'd rather have a simple but bolder one channel (combined L+R) view than having two separate channels that look thin and hard to read. Again this is something that's also seen on many hardware mixers. Perhaps this could also be an optional view?
4. Add to prepare function: it would be nice to get a GUI confirmation (for example a highlighted flashing track name) when a track has been added. No need to be left wondering whether the MIDI command registered or not !
