i had this idea 3 years ago but im bring it back with a vid


(warning the vid shows my turntable acting out becuse it hates the light in the same wall plug . no turntables where hurt in this vid :lol: )

It's a good idea, but I'm not sure how many people need highly accurate pitch control at 10-20% or higher? I rarely dip outside of 10% difference, and I play a really wide range of bpms.

this would not be shown in the skin but something you can map .
i know not all djs go past 10 . as for me i do if it sounds good .
my idea is more for the cd jocks out there and what ever other kind of deck you use besides turntables.

i tend to do live mash ups this way

ture u can do that but if u like to do this the old way with no sync .
not that sync is bad sometimes i use it if the kids enter my room and they or asking me something when im doing a mix for my show :lol:

The ultra pitch was a feature of DVS6, and it was not very precise at doing this.
Dealing with analog signal, rounding calculation and so on, you'll never have something dead on I guess.

yes and i hope u guys bring it back u see one day im going to have to jump to a MIDI deck /cd deck as the repair shops for turntables or closing down over here :eek: . so i want to beable to map my fav thing
