Hi, DzsoniB
The link is no longer directing to what you refer, What is this Roll effect Problem ?, Not sure if i am aware of this, saying that i dont really uses the Cross effects, they are a little clumsey in their nature for my liking or in some cases just dont live up to much, Maybe your issue also being similar.
???

Thanks

It direkts to the beta testing forum sorry!

This is the problem:

When I engage the roll with only one knob FX control, it is much quiter than it was, makes it useless, when using it. Why is that changed?
I recreate this with the bi-dimensional ROll, and I got this result, when the depth knob was slightly off center to the left, making the Roll quiter than the track.

The previous one-knob Roll work like the bidimensional one, with depth set to the middle (as loud as the track itself).

Cheers for the info,

I find a similar problem with sampling
I have noticed that when loading a sample, the sample always seems quieter than the orig track it was taken from more often than not, so i have to put the volume of the sample up full in some cases and even then on times the sample is still a little too quiet and thats having the main track volume at only about half way, so you would think their would be plenty of head room to bring the sample up more if need be, but not always the case.

Yes , i was guessing it was becuase of auto gain, still too look into that further, i normally tend not to analyze with autogain, but on this occasion i probally have it set to anaylze the gain, thanks for reminding me, i did not think of that in relation to the samples at first.

I have an easíyer way. Just leave auto gain on, and you can Batch-edit gains to 0dB.

Select a bunch of samples, press the info button on the right, then find gain, and turn that little knob to (or type in) 0, then hit "Apply changes", and all the selected samples will be 0 dB auto gain, which means that it leaves them with their original volume when you load.
You can adjust pads volume later if you find them a bit loud :)
