Is there currently a way to convert the output of the BeatFlash to MIDI Beat Clock?

MIDI Beat Clock isn't that 'easy' to implement... but I would love to see it. It opens the software up for use with SO many other things - including drum machines, other DJ's, etc.

But I'm willing to wait to see it done 'right'. I've seen it done poorly and it's more frustrating than not having it at all.

Tried out your alpha for Mac nillin, and it works. I understand the difficulties in providing an accurate clock from a click, so the ability to make an accurate clock output is still awaiting some changes from Cross.

Love your setup btw, DB4's rule

To sync some Light effects the Clock works for me
but i need some beat phase sync messages (from sync tool) to make a really usable solution

every DJ application have sync problems and my best solution for the most audio visual Installations is ableton live with max for live

Cross is on a good way to give me a real DJ application and the feeling
if they implement more MIDI out stuff

then i can build really good solutions to sync dmx, osc and other stuff with Cross

With a good MBC implementation it should address a lot of the challenges.

I've used MBC with Torq to sync motion dive tokyo, Maschine, and a number of other applications. I've even used it to sync multiple DJ rigs - which to be honest, was pretty interesting.

Torq did this very well. Probably the best out of any DJ application. Shame it's not supported anymore. We are all still better off with MixVibes, they are working on making us all happy :D
