I wish Cross would give us the capability of choosing the erq range for low mid high

ie: -6db 0 db +6 db
-12db 0 db +12 db
-24 db 0 db + 24 db

would suit my mixing style and probably others

regards and keep on

What is the intention/the main aim of this variable EQs?

Perhaps I can explain.

I used DJ mixers that had +/- 10 dB range, and I must tell, that it had the perfect amount of cut for me, and you can be more precise in these ranges, because a smaller amount of cut range is given to a certain amount of phisical movement. I guess you know what I mean.

for example my Reloop iQ 2 MIDI has a -30dB isolator EQ, so if I turn it down it is very drastic, you can not be precise with the levels that much, and also comes that middle position click that does not allow minimal movement around the centre point of the knob...

Putting this to the software, and using controller is the same problem, because knobs also have a middle position there :)
