Combined Audio routing

Postby BennyB on 09 Feb 2012, 22:36

I think, there should be an another version of "External mixer" routing, which combines external mixer audio routing with internal mixer user interface.

I used the same methosd in the "german software", so I could use my mixers 2 chanels, and the software to combine mixing functions.

So I'll discribe what I mean:

- Deck A and Deck B routed to separate outputs.
- Able to control the music with internal mixer also (e.g: A controller)
- Every internal mixer funcion should be available.
- CF in Cross affects the two Deck voulems separatly, or if in middle both decks are on the same volume.

This can be ideal for 3 or 4 deck mixers, that has Effects, so you can nicely combine effect in Cross with mixer effects.
If you have enough outputs you can rout CUE to a different chanel, so you don't need to use the mixer for cue-ing.

How about the combination of the 'dual stereo' routing mode and activated timecode control? Isn't this possible? (Not quite sure :-X)

It does, but if you use a midi-capable mixer its nonsense, as you cant use the mixers cue-section anymore.

+1 for external mixer routing with mixer section in Cross!
