I really look forward to a linux version.

I'm using bitwig a lot but now that I have a multitouch screen the idea of Cross DJ on my laptop has become even more appealing.

I hope the mix masters will bless us with a linux version. I'm more than happy to $upport.

The question one should ask here is really "does it pay to invest a LOT of manpower porting an application to a relatively (compared to Mac/Windows) little used OS that is all but non-existing in the DJ booth or should that manpower be directed at new versions, new features and better/more standard mappings benefiting a much larger group of people?"

If Mixvibes were to ask me (which they won't :-D ), I would never advise putting money, time and effort/manpower in developing the Linux version further.

It would not be a financially, commercially and marketing-wise solid decision.

Just my two cents.

Cross has been ported to Android. Android is Linux!
In my opinion it should not be that time consuming to adapt it to lets say Ubuntu or Mint... Unfortunately I missed the beta test time period but I suppose soundcard comatibility can be an issue...
Beside that it can also be a statement to lauch a software also on other platforms. Granted Linux is not market leader (on pcs) but you never know what will happen in the future and obviously a linux version of Cross would be interessting for certain users.

@MixVibes Team
We are waiting patiently :)

OS of the future so i dont see how it would not be a good thing.
World is changing even the way we mix music is telling it.
Stay valid is the key and i believe the mixvibes fam knows this.

thank you from this program and controller, especially cos i can go through my soundcloud playlists.
Me and my 15months old love it.

peace n respect

+1 as well, just installed linux mint and I'm going to try and get wine to work with Cross, but linux support would be amazing!
