Channel Output Swap

Hi guys,

what do you think of a software channel-output-swap feature.
I´m feeling lately lots of mixers miss this essential feature for scratch djs (doing euro-scratches) and i dont think it would be very hard to implement.

Basically it just would be a little addition to the already existing control focus, but instead of hot-swapping the input (the A,B buttons in Cross´s header) it should just swap output sides on the audio-interface.

I´m talking bout good ol´ scratch-perverts style euros,
even with the crossfader reversed, you have to do them with crossed arms.
Need an real channel-swap to do them proper

Right now there are only 2 mixers under 600€ to actually have it
-Stanton m207 and the Ecler Hak 360 (stanton has crappy faders, hak360 doesnt have sharp linefader curves)

Big Problem for Scratchers w/out money

It's the sound like an helicopter.

I have a friend doing this with a Hak 360 and from my understanding you need to have a mixer that can reverse all faders and xfader.

I tried on the 360 some weeks ago and couldnt do it, cause the linefaders arent sharp enough for me.

You "only" need a mixer with channel swap, so upfader 1 controls volume 2 and vice versa, or a DVS that swps outputs independently from the tc-input.

->Deck A signal coming from out 3/4, but still the Timecode on Deck A controlling the signal.

Very scratch advanced imo, I can add it but I'm pretty sure it won't even fall into the to do list.

i know, it´s a very personal wish

nothing Cross really needs,
simply speaking it would only be a button to swap output sides, dunno how hard to implement that is.

thx for listening to me anyway, really appreciate it!!!

Hey,

I put it at this thread but it is a bit different to j-kut suggestion. At the german area at the forum is a potencial customer who would by the U-Mix Control Pro with Cross DJ when he had a function where he can reverse the Crossfader.
Here is the link to the german thread: viewtopic.php?f=271&t=20909

He would be happy and would buy it directly when this function is there. From my side it is a nice to have function for Cross DJ that you can reverse the digital CV.

Offtopic.HorsSujet!
When using a external mixer often they have this but he wants this as an internal function
