You can only fit so much in a suitcase before you have to pay extra baggage fees!

hehehe. it would almost be cool if you could download a 'base' version of Cross, then select which added extras or 'apps' you would want to include in your build ;) ....for extra cost or some for free..
For those whom would like their hamburger 'with the lot' or some who want just 'cheese and tomato and no pickles'.
Not everyone has an i7 laptop with a decent graphics card to run the videos in HD as well as high quality sound files ( i'm thinking of someone from the east coast of the US right now... ;) ).
I think a system like this would be very unique if MV decided to follow this path... Just like the way you can choose to add on the video plug in, the same could be done for specific effects ect....
Just an idea.
This would aid in more money for development of the software.
I blame Marxon for this idea

  if you think about it, this is possible with the avaibility of the updates in the download section,,even though the peril of rolling back to a earlier version before ver2.0 with a collection manged by that ver risks lossing the collection,,,,kept all of the versions installed on computer untill three things happened
1-saw they where avaible in the download section
2- had ver 2.1 collection get disappeared when trying to roll back to 1.7 to test how it was running since 2.1 was becoming unusable on my computer
3 had norton anti virus delete different versions due to some error and me not paying attention to what it wanted to delete
sooo being at the fork in the road for me ,,, since plug in is beyond the power/os of my system,, 2.1 is unmanable on my system ,,its either update my computer to be able to run the plug in ,,or just be happy with going back to 1.7 till i get my computer up to speed

 sooooo

+1 for more locators please! :)

I don't even care if they display on the screen. I'd trigger them with my launchpad anyway. One of the things I like doing is setting a cue every bar. I memorize the chord on those beats then progress through different parts of the same song. With 8 locators - I usually only have space for 2 phrases.

I often don't use all the locators - but having them in order keeps them perfectly organized and often making a progression in and of themselves.

Maybe I'm just greedy though. ;)

Incidentally I have the same thing going on with Samples. But it's not such an issue since I have 16 sample pads to play with (I disassociate decks C&D from the crossfader). ;)
