lastly, the (product) name Cross is great because:
- it used to (and still does) refer to "A-B" song mixing (and x-fader).
- an "enhanced pad" (future) version (more geared toward "creation") allows "going aCross sample decks C and D" to build songs / segments (in sample decks), as well as "going aCross a Player Deck to a Sample Deck" to capture music (with loop start and end points).
