Hello there everyone,
First off, I want to clarify that I am a huge fan of the MixVibes software, and I hope these requests do not come off too negative. I am a huge fan of the solid HID integration and flexible beatgrid options. If the following were implemented, I would be able to use Cross for both my mobile and club gigs. At present I use Traktor in club settings due to its integration and stability with iTunes. SeratoDJ is what I use for most of my mobile work, but unfortunately it doesn't play so nice with iTunes (very unstable, random "corrupt" files, and no ratings column).
It may just be the computer I am using (Retina MacBook Pro), but the waveforms in Cross seem rather blurry in comparison to the competition. Is there a setting I am missing? If it were possible to make the white scroll marker lighter, one could more accurately set their grids. On that note, being able to lock a grid, or a column to indicate it has been verified by the user, would be an appreciated addition. One more thing, while hovering on the smallest waveform overview, it would be nice to have something to indicate how far from my current position I would be moving.
If the waveforms were clearer on all three levels, Cross would be my sole choice for all events. The grids could be as accurate and tight as my OCD heart desired for my club music, and using the waveform at the very top I could easily mix music without grids like most of my massive mobile library.
