Grid and cueing

Im new to Cross DJ and was introduced to it by a friend.
i want to play my music videos.
I have downloaded the demo version to try it.
Im facing issues as the software randomly takes the grid when the track is loaded which at times is off beat, when i set the grid manually the grid remains the same and the track plays in off beat mode even with sync on.
Kindly help me with this issue and i love this software and don't want to change my mind with anything else.
