Colored frequency waveform.

Hey guys, I just purchase an Allen and heath mixer and got Cross LE with it and would like to ask some questions please. Before downloading and installing on my main music PC, I would like to try out the colored frequency waveform on my test PC but far as I can tell, the FREE version does not have the colored frequency waveform, if this correct then would my only option be to install and try out only on my music PC?

I guess you have to make it visible : Menu > View> beatmatcher.

I don't know if thethat version has it but you must select colored waveforms in the settings.

Also colored waveforms are not available until the tracl peaks is analized.

I will download the free version later today whenever I should get the chance and will do as you guys have suggested and will get back to you, thanks. BTW, my purpose for this is simply to see if at a view and without using headphones I will be able to see where the first downbeat is just by looking at the frequency colors.

No, it's shaded out guess it's not available in the free version. Ok, tell me this guys, If I should install the LE version I got with my mixer on one of my test machines for now but wish to use it permanently on my music machine afterwards, would I be able to do so or would I need to purchase a 2nd license which I won't need? I have the serial number on a Cross LE flyer which came with the mixer.

A regular Mixvibes license allows for 2 separate computers, perhaps same with the LE. :?:

Thanks, I installed it on a windows desktop machine here for now, looks like it does not work without the mixer connected to it. Problem is, the mixer's main out is XLR and I won't be able to test until Saturday on my main rig so I don't have a way to get audio right now via that PC's speakers?

Le versions require controller to be connected on start of Cross.

You likely can select a different sound card for your audio in Preferences.

So it won't work as a standalone software like Virtual DJ running only off a laptop without any other hardware connected to it?
