Edit mapping DDJ-SB (for fast search)

Postby Pointforward on 09 Jul 2015, 08:55

Hi!

DDJ-SB + Cross DJ

I don't seam to find how to move "needle" fast on a track. Manual says that shift + jogwheel should work but it does not. It works perfectly with Serato software like that. Without that is is quit slow to find fast way right point in the end of a track for example.
I'm using DDJ-SB with PC Cross DJ 3.3.10.

I tried to edit mapping, but I don't know what to change or add there.
Can someone help me?

Thanks

PF.

I believe you must register your license in order to be able to post files. That being said.

If you post your map, I can take a look and add the correct command for that function.

Thank you

When you are posting a reply there is a tab below the text windows labeled "Upload attachment" click on that

then click on browse to navigate to the directory in which your attachment is located

Select the file and click open

Submit and the file will be contained withing the post.

map files extension are .mappings

EDIT- The following files have been removed until further notice in order to avoid conflict of interest with Mixvibes

DDJ-SB(Pioneer)Mod1.mappings

OK try this modified file. No guarantees, I just hope it works since I don't have the controller to test it.

Please let me know if it works or not so I can check it.

I will send you another one with the sensitivity toned down a bit so see if that works better.

Some more information for you. In order to reduce the smartseek sensitivity which is the command that I mapped to the jog wheel.

On the deck reduce the seek amount to 1/4 and play with those values and you can see the differences.
