Hi all. I can't seem to find anything online that shows you how to use the video pluggin that comes with Cross. I've had a go at clicking and dragging videos into the players but there are still features missing and I think there are a few hidden controls that I can't seem to find on the options menu. Any help would be great! Thanks.

what version of Cross are you running ,,the current version is 3.1 and has video and video sampler imbeded into the software ,,
and what are you thinking you are missing ,,
not shure if there is a vid tutorial ,, soooo ,, any on usage and controls ,,we will try to answer here in this posting ,

Hi, thanks for the reply. Running Cross 3.1. I don't seem to see the text editor which is shown in the promo video. This isn't a big deal (it's unlikely I'll use it) but it got me thinking there may be other 'hidden' controls that there is not an option for in the preferences. Which is why a user guide would come in handy to explain all the features of the pluggin in detail. I would also like to know how to integrate Web cam feeds and how to combine separate audio and video files for one click loading. These are a few features from a long list that I have no idea how to get started with in afraid... also, does Cross automatically split the screen if dual monitors are enabled via your computer hardware settings?

in the center section in the upper part of the gui should be a icon of a camera ,,pic browser ,,beside it is a little arrow to the left ,, push the arrow and it will toggle to text ,, to the right of the icons are tab labeled presets and edit ,,
yes it does split the screens if this is enabled ,, the icons at the top that look like a film clip ..

if you go into preferences and enable tool tips ,, by hovering the mouse over controls they will inform what they are for

hate to say play around with the software to become familiar with it ,,
as for the web cam try looking in the video tab and see what it explains ,, havent gotten that far ,,no web cam ,

Thanks Daniel that's been really helpful. As it happens I had the FX panel hidden (I use an efx1000) so most of the controls came on when I enabled it again. Go figure! After having a play around for an hour I've figured out most of the features including Web cam and coupling. All the buttons are there you just have to find them! Manual would have been handy though. Thanks again!

yes agree a manual would have been helpful ,,even a vid tut got your web cam hooked up with the short turn around time of new updates and features ,,
