4all users who use the video plugin and videos for vj-ing.
finally came to daylight : mp4 gain. http://mp4gain.com/
Since we all had problems with a variety of audio signal in our video clips.
This is definitely of great importance to us.
You can normalize even vob... just rename to mpg.

tested today !

Good indication, but ...
I downloaded the trial version and realized that:

It does not increase kbps bitrate
The original file was 192 kbps, after converting this to 154 kbps

Khz samplerate, also does not change, (44100 to 48000)

No difference felt in the final volume.

Is it because it is demo?
Tell me a little more please
thank you

I'm glad you asked that question and pointed me in this direction.
I only tested the demo version.
the first thing I did was that I threw a few of my old mp4 to mp4gain.

I left in the settings - keep the original bitrate
I squeezed the Normalize button, and I was pleased with the effect.
all I normalized the sound louder or quieter.
It was quieter if I squeezed REPLAY GAIN.

what I noticed after your post was that mp4gain changed
my original bitrate to lower or left the same.
I managed to change the bitrate and samplerate to 48,000 but only in mp3 files.
mp4 gain destroyed some of my mpg.but i already convert everything to mp4.
currently I got what I wanted. normalize mp4 and required volume of my old and new clips that sounds different.
and then I'd look into other nuances such as bitrate and samplerate.

Soon ,after I'll get my license i will play with it.
if you want I will send you copies of the video clips before and after normalization

shure, converting a file from 128Kbps/32KHz to 320Kbps/48Khz will give you better soundquality
