Mixvibes Dj Community old forum

Hello. I've just got a mixvibes DVS Ultimate set with u-mix44, registered on the forum as there is no user guide to speak of with the software, just a quickstart booklet that doesn't really tell me anything, but for some reason I can't post anywhere. Even in the 'introduce yourself' section - have I missed some part of registering process or what? This is unusual... I have some really basic questions about how the software as I've never used this kind of system before.
Help!

All I want is basic 'how to use this program' kind of guide, like you used to get with software. A user manual. Not a quick start guide that doesn't tell you anything about the interface, or having to go on a forum and browse the whole thing looking for a solution.
I just want to know what this does, what that does etc.
Does such a guide exist, or am i going to have to get Traktor so I can the info I need without being sent here every time I don't get something?

write a PM to UncleVibes regarding the access issue. Once sorted you can ask your questions in a dedicated thread.
Please be more precise while asking, what exactly do you want to know?

You could also try deleting the forums Cookies

ucp.php?mode=delete_cookies

Then log back into the forum.

Thanks, I'll try the access things. All I want to know is what all the buttons do, basic stuff really.
How do I delete cue points/locations?
What is real time mode?
How do I use the loop function?
What are spd and mt?
Stuff like that. I can't find any tutorials or anything on the web, this seems to be one of the more obscure versions.
Anyway I'll see if I can the access issue sorted and maybe I'll be able to get some answers.

you must have a pdf tutorial in DVS folder.

I do, it's a pdf of the quick start guide that I also got in paper form, and doesn't tell me anything apart from how to install the software and the absolutely most basic info to start mixing.

Is there a more detailed one I should have? I can't find it anywhere if there is.

Don't get me wrong, the software works and I can mix with it, I just want to get familiar with the details more quickly than I can if have to work it all out for myself.

ok, I must have some weird setting or something. If I delete cookies I can post, but it logs me out. When I log in again, I can't post any more, except in this section.
