Well, it was a miracle, that I could actually record this... I have an old machine, but I didn't experince glitches, it was smooth and I was damn happy.

Demos like this will come soon :)

I was playing around with the roll effect tonight after this demo.

I notice that your video doesn't show the depth knob. I still found that when that wasn't set to halfway whatever was rolled was quieter than the main mix.

I also just couldn't get it right. Your video makes it look so easy :lol: The roll samples what has just been played, right? I certainly can't get it to sound as good as your video, where you're turning it on and off all over the place.

Tip: get a nice 128 bpm song, that has a drum only bum-bum-bum section in it. Loop it.

Count the beat in your head, and engage the effect right before a beat comes.
Second: Try to experiment with it.
With the bidimensional version, the depth should be half way up as I remember, but one-dimensional version sounds better and easyer to handle.

I don't use quantize, since Roll always uses the bpm info of the track you are using it on :)
