afaik it´s dependent on your cd-players.

Combo-jog: like Pioneer 1000->pitchbend when turning on side, scratch/trackscroll when touching the platter from above.
But your player must send both messages without having to change the mode on it.

scratch-jog: scratching when turning platter

cd-jog: pitchbend on platter

So i guess scratch jog would be the best for the radius´jog, and pitchbend/tracksearch mapped to the buttons on the radius.

hope this helps.

The beeep sounds like you have the Timecode signal routed to the output of your soundcard to the mixer. When you play the timecode signal it sounds like a peeep. (The computer can see a difference but a human not)

Hi, I've got a final question, I'm finally there!

When I want to use The MIDI function, do i have to connect my radiusses only by USB CABLE to the laptop, or do I also have to connect them by the red & white RCA CABLES?

And I suppose that I also have to change the preferences of my soundcard because there's one signal from MixVibes, or am I wrong?

Thanks!

It depends on the system you want to use. When you only want to use MIDI I think it is enough to connect your player with the USB cable to the computer.
If you want to use both MIDI and also sometimes normal Audio you can connect both.

What exactly do you mean? You have your soundcard configured at Cross for external Mixing with two outputs? than you have to connect them to your mixer.
Sorry but I don't understand what exactly do you mean with that there is one signal from MixVibes.

Well i have problems with playing MIDI and my soundcard. The radiusess are connected well and the program react in the preferences screen on the radiusses. But when i hit PLAY,PAUSE, or something else on the radius, mixvibes doesnt do a thing.

When I switch from souncard mode to the internal PC soundcard, everything works fine.Strange!

which soundcard? the U46 or a different card? when it not work the soundcard is not installed correctly or is not connected correctly. Or is the soundcard working when you disable the MIDI function at your CD players?
It would also help us to get a detailed description of what you have connected where and a screenshot of your soundsettings at Cross. (You can use a imagefilehoster like imageshark to upload your pictures)

I found the problem, and discoverde by oing that another lol ;p

It seems that only one player was mapped in MIDI function!

And that brings me to my other and hopefully latest problem ;p

One player is mapped succesfully, the other is conected and recognized by Mixvibes. The problem: I cant modify the MIDI function for the second player.

So the second player is connected well an recognized in the program, but i'm not able to modify the MIDI controls like the first one

-Soundcard (OUTPUT 1) to channel 1 of my mixer(line)
-Soundcard (OUTPUT 2) to channel 4 of my mixer(line)
