U46MK2 DRIVERS AND INSTALLATION (XP, VISTA)
Posted: 13 Dec 2007, 19:10If your driver already works don't install new driver: install it only if you have any problems.
FOR WINDOWS XP USERS
FOR WINDOWS VISTA USERS
If you hear crackling it means your latency setting is too low, choose a larger buffer size and test again
FOR WINDOWS XP USERS
- 1. Uninstall all previous U46MK2 drivers:
- - Turn off the U46MK2
- Go to [Start > Control Panel > Add/remove programs] and uninstall all U46MK2/DJ Audio Drivers
3. Unzip and install the update
4. At the end of the install, don't click on [Install U46Mk2]
5. Download the new U46MK2 driver: 1.034
6. Unzip it and open it
7. Disconnect the U46MK2
8. Lauch the setup.exe
9. Let the install wizard help you to install the new driver
10. Then reboot your computer
11. Launch Mixvibes and go to [File > Install Wizard]
12. Let the install wizard help you configure Mixvibes.

FOR WINDOWS VISTA USERS
- 1. Uninstall all previous U46MK2 drivers:
- - Turn off the U46MK2
- Go to [Start > Control Panel > Programs] and uninstall all U46MK2/DJ Audio Drivers
3. Unzip and install the update
4. At the end of the install, don't click on [Install U46Mk2]
5. You can then choose between 2 drivers :
- a. ASIO 4ALL 2.8 (choose 256 samples)
=> if you go with this driver, make sure you tick in the U46 Setting box in the [Options >Sound] menu

b. MixVibes 1.0.35 (choose 256 samples)
You will have 256 samples added with ASIO4ALL to the end latency
7. Unzip it and open it
8. Disconnect the U46MK2
9. Lauch the setup.exe
10. Let the install wizard help you to install the new drivers (don't panic if the window displays 'not responding')
11. Then reboot your computer
12. Launch Mixvibes and go to the install wizard [File > Install Wizard]
