U-Mix Control Pro 2, Cross 3.43 and a M1 Macbook Pro!

TLDR; - It works!

Everything I have read had me thinking it would not, but I have a 13" M1 Chip Macbook Pro with 8GB RAM and Cross 3.43 runs like a dream with my U-Mix Control Pro 2.

I recorded a short mix in Dual Stero mode and all was fine. No glitches or cutouts.

Unless there's something more (perhaps at a hardware level?) that I don't understand and moght be damaging...? Not sure, but looking around at alternatives recently I'm so happy this all works.

Once this works there's not likely aproblem to be expected. As long as the iOS version stays compatible Cross will work.

Hardware same kind of status. As long as long as USB1.1 is supported MIDI will work.
Audio driver will also work as long as nothing is changed in the iOS on this.
Remaing is the power to the U-Mix Control Pro. With new USB usuallly more power can be deilvered than needed (though connected devices keep sharing this)

So pretty sure you're OK as there's not really a thing that can trouble you. So fine tuning the latency to find your fastest and safe value could be your next step...

The only reason for my post was that Serato, Traktor and plenty of other DJ Software companies have advised against using their software and hardware with Appleā€™s M1 chip. In some cases they even suggested things might seem to work but damage would be done to controllers.
