New macOS replaces iTunes with Apple music app. Playlists?

I've upgraded macOS and the Apple iTunes app was removed replaced by the new Apple music app.

The problem is with iTunes/applemusic playlists access to the Cross DJ app.

I'm not using the Apple music app for steaming, it's used just like iTunes with all the songs are on the mac hard drive.

The new Apple Music app doesn't use the old playlists xml file:
/Users/usename/Music/iTunes/iTunes Music Library.xml

Cross DJ is still looking at this xml file when you click the iTunes icon on the left.

I was reading about this and apparently the "3rd party software publishers" need to update their apps to support the new Apple Music App API for accessing the playlist. theverge website have an articae about the issue:

Is playlist access coming back to Cross DJ?
