Hello all,

I just bought the DVS Ultimate box with the U-MIX44 soundcard. I know it is old but I wanted to try to use it. It was not so expensive.

The box I have is complete but the CD can't be read by my computer.

Is it possible to download the installation software ? I do not find it in the download section. I heard it was possible to have a link.

Could you help me ?

One of the first impact of having old software is that the installer which is at the CD isn't compatible with current Win versions.

If you're lucky you might get it to work at W7 version. Later versions you will run into issues with changes in the way dirvers are required by Windows.

The soundcard likely will work in current versions.

It's really recommended to give the Cross Demo a try. The last Ultimate update was made over 15 years ago.

If you don't use DVS or HID you could consider purchasing de 'cheaper' version Cross DJ.
