Anyone using Version 4 on a Windows Laptop ??

I am one of the many who have had issues with Mixvibes Cross DJ's newest version V4 on a Windows laptop. In my experience V4 (all versions including V4.1) creates a very high load on the CPU/Graphics resources, which results in very high instability, very jerky waveforms, and various other issues as reported by other users.

Mixvibes has been ZERO help with this.

Is anyone running V4 successfully on a Windows laptop?
By successfully, I mean actually DJ'ing with it in a live environment for money. If so, I would be interested in the following -
1) Which version of Windows ?
2) What CPU ?
3) Which Graphics chip ?
4) How much memory ?
5) HD or SSD storage ?

I currently run -
Windows 10 Home 64 Bit
Intel Core i5 2.27 ghz
nvidia GeForce
8 gig
HD

That configuration runs V4.1 very poorly, but runs V3.4.3 superbly.

Thanks!!

Wow! There's about 124 V4.1 downloads for Windows out there - no one has been able to get it to run smoothly??

Hi Haginon, I have now done 1 to 2 hours of sessions at home several times, so far it is working perfectly in controller mode. With the timecode the graphics is jerky.
Win 7
Core I7 2720QM
8Gb
HD graphics
SSD 1TB Samsung

My gigs are usually longer than that, but it's good to know a Core i7 can run it. While the NVIDIA GT 330m and GT 540 graphics are similar w/1 gb of memory, the software might only be using the HD graphics of the CPU. Anyone know?

Have you tried AutoPlay yet?

My gigs also last 6 to 7 hours. But I use timecode and that doesn't work properly with version 4.
I haven't used autoplay yet

I switched back to 3.4.3, because 4 isn´t usable, especially DVS.
I got my money back from mixvibes.

Instead of working the problem, they refund the money?

Wow! I'd go deeper into this but I'm too busy playing with my new sing along RAP APP ! The heck with DJ'ing !!
