Remixvideo Pro not starting MacOS 10.15.2

Downloaded latest Remixvideo Pro 1.4.9
MacOS 10.15.2

Start Remixvideo

Will not start

Apple banner comes up

Remixvideo Pro is damaged and should be moved to the bin

I have the same issue: I just purchased Pro for my new MacBook Pro 16" (was previously running the non-Pro version on a 2012 MacBook Pro with no issues). Same error on launch with v1.4.9:

“Remixvideo Pro.app” can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software.
This software needs to be updated. Contact the developer for more information.


I had initially tried the previous installer for 1.4.6, which is what was linked to my purchase today, but I got a similar error. I'm not sure why the latest software version is hidden in the Forum, but that's a website UI issue.

So I'm SOL for now... and out $50.

(Lack of) progress report:
I also posted this issue on Facebook, and the only response was to send them an email (which I did... 3 weeks ago). I also submitted my concerns via their website Contact form. Still radio silence.

If Remixvideo is not compatible with the latest MacOS, MixVibes should be upfront about that fact - as other companies are - before customers purchase year-old software.

Unfortunately we no longer provide support via the forums, as mentioned in our signature below.

Hi,

The macOS signature issue related to this problem has been fixed, as of version 1.4.10 (Remixvideo and Remixvideo Pro).
