Hi there,

I just bought Cross DJ 4 and a Hercules DJ Control Mp3 e2 MIDI controller.

This MIDI controller is on the list of compatible controllers, and when I plug it into the computer the light on the controller lights up so I know it's connected, but it doesn't show up in the 'MIDI' tab of the preferences window in Cross DJ.

Any tips on getting Cross DJ to recognize the controller?

The controller has to be connected at startup of Cross.
Try using the same USB port every time. Else some (minor) install is taking place in the background before it is properly available.

Some new PC/MAc don't have backward compatibility for USB 1.x by default. Most controllers are of this type. Using a (powered) USB 2.0 hub is a quick way to try this.
