Hello everyone,

When a video (or just an audio file) is playing
and that I want to quickly listen to another place by clicking on the Full Track Display,
a frame around the waveform flashes for 3 to 6 seconds
before I can hear the chosen part.

Why is it not instantaneous when you have 16 Gb of RAM, a 2.8 GHz processor and an internal SSD?
Can more RAM be allocated to Cross, have any preference set?

Lorsque une vidéo (ou juste un fichier audio) est en lecture
et que je veux vite écouter à un autre endroit en cliquant sur la fenêtre de piste entière,
un cadre entour de la forme d'onde clignote pendant 3 à 6 secondes
avant que je puisse entendre la partie choisie.

Pourquoi n'est-ce pas instantané lorsqu'on dispose de 16 Gb de RAM, un processeur de 2,8 GHz un d'un SSD interne ?
Peut-on allouer plus de RAM à Cross, faire régler une préférence quelconque?

They apparently changed something with quantize behaviour. I also can't really get my finger behind it as it doesn't always behave as I think it should.

But likely if you reduce the quantize value (top buttons) it will reduce to instant.

Other setting that might be related is the cycle type in prefernces.

quantize was on "16",
it's better on "1" now
