Sorry about this ongoing bug. I have personally reported the FX not working in external mixer mode back during the first beta release, so I am sure the team is aware of the issue and should be working on fixing it.

@williwichtig When I responded to your email, it only mentioned the FX not working and not external mixer mode, so sorry about my confusion.

Also I wasn't aware that the FX tweaker was not going to be apart of the final release of Cross DJ 4, or maybe this is just a bug? I will ask for some clarification, but if it is not included then we should update the comparison chart on the Cross DJ 4 page to reflect that.

hi colleagues & technicians,

i'm not sure, if i should open up a new topic, or just mention this new bug here:

in simple stereo mode i've tested various effect combinations per channel and noticed that the preferred combinations of 3 effects seem not to be stored when closing Cross DJ 4. after restart of Cross DJ 4 my peferred effect settings have disappeared and i had to redo all settings once again.

is it my fault, a bug or a feature?

Not exactly sure what you mean.
I tested several FX from combobox. Inbetween sessions the set FX remains set FX type.

Fader values for FX are not stored in between sessions. Don't think that is something wanted as it may lead to strange situations in combination with MIDI controllers. If not in sync on startup the only safe way to start would be 0.

I used Cross Pro to test.

ok, i try to explain it in a different way:

1) e.g. i start with effect settings of player A

first effect chosen is "echo"
second effect set to "hi-pass"
third effect chosen is "brake"

(might not be the best combination of effects but good enough for test purposes, isn't it)

2) then doing the same settings for player B, C and D

3) quit Cross DJ 4

4) open Cross DJ 4

5) i can see 3 effects per player, but not the ones i've chosen

Tried Cross DJ and same result as you have.

Pro works according to the behaviour you wouuld like to have in Cross DJ as well. Settings saved between sessions.
And even when starting Cross DJ aftr Pro the settings as saved by Pro are not used.

So you are telling us that there is a possibility that the fx tweaker will not be a part of Cross DJ but only to Cross Pro? Or am i wrong?
