First Q: How many activations do I get with one licence ?

I've installed 1.4.3 on my "on the road" Win 7 laptop = works fine
When I purchased Remixvideo I Got a got an email from Ecomerce with a download link to ver 1.4.3 and a licencekey.
Afterwards I discovered that there is a version 1.4.7 ,why wasn't I sent that one from the start ?

Now I need a second install on my brand new Win10 desktop.
( Build my Samplepacks on the Desktop at home, transfer them to my "on the road" laptop )

So here's where I probably messed up big time:
Used the same 1.4.3 install file I got from Ecomerce/Mixvibes and typed in my Licence key.
The software just behaves strangely, shuts down, samplepacks cant be read, there is no grid in the window upon startup.
Tried to uninstall and reinstall 1.4.7 version instead= same problem/worse.

I can't get it to ask for a licence key again so it seems like I cannot make a Clean uninstall/install.

Ok if I'm only allowed one install per licence (?) - I can buy another one for my Desktop.
But, then I need to make sure it will work on my Desktop. Since somethings gone wrong during all this. I need to clear up something in the registry ?

And I'm also afraid to update my functioning laptop from ver 1.4.3 to ver 1.4.7. I sure would like those new features in 1.4.7 though

Laptop: Dell latitude E6430, Win 7, 64 bit 4gb ram.
Desktop:Win10 Pro. Cpu I7-8700, 32 GB ram,500 GB ssd, Nvidia GT1030

I really like the software, hope I can get some help with this.
( I'm a former Arkaos user. But arkaos has become to complex for those situations where I need to have someone else run VJ during live shows for me)

Please register your license key in your user profile.

Then you can dowload latest version from downloads.

The external shop does not always have the latest version. The info provided should refer to the website for registration and download of the latest version.

Yes I have entered the licence key om my profile.
(I see im in the group reg.users now)
But no matter what I do, unistall 1.4.3 and install1.4.7
I still get the mentioned problems, no grid upon startup, cant read sample packs, program freezes randomly.. Etc
Its like theres a preference file that is corrupt??
Already the first time I got to enter my licence code
the program shut down emidiatly.
My install is probably just a mess so that is why I think I need to make a total unistall - because the software seems to remember my licence code every time I reinstall.

Further testing: Tried different screen settings.1920x1080, 1440 x 900, 800x600.1280x720 = still shuts down.

Did a deep uninstall (using Ashampoo8).
Discovered that there was files still left in registry.
Ashampoo8 deleted these.
Reinstalled. Still same thing.
The basic "default" sample pack is not loaded.
Always the same setup - the last one I did when I got Remixvideo to work a little bit.
I made it work for a while doing this : Deleted the files
remixvideo.remixlivedb-journal from the Mixvibe folder.
I can get an empty Remixvideo to "stay".
But as soon as I add something from the Mixvibe Samplepack ..it shuts down
This also means that even uninstalling with Ashampoo there are still some files left in the PC.

Worth mentioning I got the same issues on this machine with ver 1.4.3
I can get the 1.4.7 Pro DEMO to work on Another Win 10 machine . ( my old PC that Im not going to use anymore , worn out)
But the 1.4.7 pro demo does not work on this new PC, still same problem.

Sorry about these ongoing issues with Remixvideo and for the delay with the support email!

Also to answer your first question, your license for Remixvideo is good to install on 2 machines.

Also please check for any crash dmp files

Open a file explorer
Paste: %APPDATA%\Mixvibes\Remixvideo\Crashes

Then you can attach any files found either here or in an email to support@mixvibes.com

I discovered this in my laptop running 1.4.3 ( the one that works not the destop weve been discussing so far)

For the first time I used the pad move and duplicated function = Everything broke down.
Random pads in the grid does not respond anymore.
That is, the pad is highlighted as if it´s playing but there is no image.
If I duplicte an entire sample pack = the copy AND original samplepack = both gets "infected" ,buttons dont repospond

The SOUND from a pad is on the other hand triggered, its just the image.

The pad/key is forever dead. No matter if I choose Another samplepack or even uninstall or reinstall
If I, just to see what happens, move a "dead" pad to a new pad
the image returns but its totally distorted.

So I upgraded to 1.4.7 on my laptop = Exact same problem

Furthermore, in 1.4.7 there is the option down below where you can se Pictures, and the new Movies Generators.
If I drag a Generator onto o "broken" pad = the program shuts down.

This does not seem very promising...

Found a way around it ( in my "functioning" Laptop):
Delete all samplepacks except the default one.
Restart. Now it works. As long as I don´t use move or duplicate pad or
make any new Smaplepack with different grid size.
