I have to buy before i know if my deck will work?

I just connected my Numark Pro 2 and nothing works because it says i have to upgrade first, what if it does not work or i don't like the way it performs, i loose my money?
Never seen any DJ software that does this....

Can you please provide a link, as i only see Cross DJ free? when i click on "try" it brings me to free only...

Ok so i made a typo I have Mixtrack Pro 3 which is currently not supported, what a shame... i was liking Cross DJ.
